Description: The UX-3Pi includes incrimental and optional updates to the UX-3SE. Audio playback circuitry in the Pi is identical to that of the SE. As in the Se the UX-3Pi's advanced 14bit video processing and custom video potput stage enables DVD up-conversion to high definaition "HD" output at 480p , 720p & 1080p. This is achieved from your existing DVD collection without having to buy new software. The UX-3SE VRDS mechanism & burr Brown 24 bit D/A converters are included. The UX-3Pi adds these incrimantal updates to the base features of the UX-3SE.

At US$8,600 (NZ$9995 special) the UX-03Pi is far from affordable for non audiophiles, but for the audiophile community, when you consider the competition out there, you will soon realize that in fact Esoteric UX-03Pi is a bargain when compared with lesser players that cost more. This would be a statement player for most companies. And, really, there isn't an universal player out there that compares to it, except for Esoteric's own big brother the UX-1 Limited.
