Epilepsy New Zealand is a not-for-profit organisation providing an information and support service within the community,
to enhance the quality of life of people with epilepsy by working with people who have epilepsy and their
families/whanau, health and education professionals, employers and wider community groups. Our Wellington Branch
is looking for an exceptional individual to join their team. This position has a starting rate of $17.00 per hour.
If you have a high competency level and experience in the following areas we would like to hear from you :
• A strong communicator with the ability to work one to one with individuals
• Public speaking / educational presentation skills
• Able to organise and facilitate social groups, public meetings, etc.
• Able to work well with a diverse range of cultures and ages
• Confident computer, administration and organisational skills
• Hold a current clean full drivers licence
• Knowledge of local service providers, community organisations, health services, etc
• A background in nursing or teaching would be an advantage
This role requires someone with proven skills who can work autonomously and as a team member.
