Welcome to I Need, New Zealand’s newest and most comprehensive commodities and services site.

 

1. Terms and conditions.

I Need Limited reserves the right to alter the standard terms and conditions at any time to preserve the integrity, confidentially and security of its website, members or the public at large.

Terminology.

Item. Any product, service, commodity that can be purchased, sold, provided or bartered through the I Need process.

Member. Any registered user of I Need.

Service. Includes but is not restricted to any service offered by I Need or an I Need member, sale, barter, provision or exchange of goods products or services.

We, us, our. Apply to I Need Ltd.

You, your. Refer to the member.

Website. Means any website that provides I Need services.

Listing. Means any listing seeking or providing a service, product, barter or item via the I Need web site.

Seller. Any person selling, providing, bartering or by any other way exchanging a product, service, item or commodity.

Needer. Any person who seeks to acquire by way of purchase, barter or exchange any product, service, item or commodity.

2. Our service to you.

I Need undertakes to provide a secure platform that will enable members to purchase, acquire, exchange, sell, barter or buy or otherwise provide any item, product or service provided it is legal and in the view of I Need is not objectionable or injurious to the general public in any way.

3. Responsibility.

All transactions are conducted between members. I Need is in no way responsible for the outcomes of any transactions and offers no guarantee nor warranties for any of the products or services supplied. All transactions are at “Members Risk”.

4. Disclaimer.

Members use I Need at their own risk.

I Need does not guarantee that services provided will be without interruption.

I Need does not guarantee the accuracy of any information provided.

Accuracy of content rests solely with the advertising member or advertiser.

I Need is not responsible for the payment of any costs, fees or other duties incurred as a result of any transaction between members.

I Need is not responsible for the protection of any credit card fraud or financial losses resulting from any fraudulent activities.

I Need excludes itself from all liability and responsibility that may result from the use of the I Need web site.

5. Indemnity.

Members agree to keep I Need indemnified against all actions, claims, costs, losses, proceedings, damages, demands or liabilities for a members failure to comply with I Needs terms and conditions, failure to complete a transaction or a failed sale resulting from any attempt to sell, obtain, acquire or by any other method receive or despatch any prohibited or illegal item or substance of any description.

6. Breaches of terms and conditions.

I Need reserves that absolute right to limit, remove, warn, suspend, sanction or terminate any membership of any member who in the view of I Need have breached I Needs terms and conditions.

7. Membership.

No joining fee is required by I Need however a minimum activation fee of $10 gst inc is required. The activation fee allows the member to commence using the site with no other initial costs required. I Need welcomes members from overseas. Members must be over the age of 18 years.

8. Details provided.

All members guarantee to provide complete and accurate information at all times.

9. Termination of membership.

I Needs retains the right to terminate any membership without discussion as a result of serious or multiple complaints or any other issue that I Need considers to be unacceptable.

 

10. Log on information.

Members are solely responsible for the security of all information including login, e mail and passwords. Members agree not to provide these details to any other person.

11. General.

All listings and information are made in good faith.
No member will in any way damage or interfere with the I Need web site.

No automated means of any description may be used to access the web site.

Members shall not enter contact details of any description within the listing description.

All contracts resulting from any transaction must be legally enforceable.

Members are responsible for any transaction completed under their membership. Memberships are not transferrable in any way what so ever.

12. Obligations as a Needer.

Needers may be located in any national or international location.
All payments are to be by way of New Zealand currency.
All information given will be honest and accurate.

No product, service, information or activity of an illegal, pornographic or offensive nature will be sought.

All listing information given will be honest, complete and accurate.

Transactions and communications are at the needer’s discretion.
I Need reserves the right to remove any listing that it deems to be unsuitable.

Upon finalisation all transactions must me completed as quickly as possible.

Any shipping and packaging cost must be agreed to by the needer and seller / provider. I Need is not responsible for delivery or non delivery of any item or service.
Needers must make full and prompt payment for any agreed fees or costs associated with the transaction.
Access to the adult site is restricted to those 18 years of age and over.

 

13. Obligations as a seller / provider.

Sellers or providers can be from any national or international location.

Listings will be accurate, honest and complete.

Sellers or providers must have actual possession of the product or service listed.

No illegal, objectionable, stolen, counterfeit or dangerous product or service will be listed.

I Need may not be used for multiple or generic listings.
You may not list item, products or services that are speculative in nature, involve pyramid selling, surf for free or any similar scheme.

All adult items, movies, DVD’s, books, magazines will be listed in the adult category only.

I Need reserves the right to remove any listing that it deems to be unsuitable.

Upon finalisation all transaction must be completed as soon as possible.

All shipping and packaging costs must be agreed to by the seller / provider.

The selling of all firearms must be within the requirements of section 43a of the Arms act 1983. The sale of arms and ammunition that contravenes the act is an offence.
I Need reserves the right to suspend sellers or providers who list in excess of 250 items a week when the sell rate is less than 10 % over a four week period.

 

14. Fees.

A $10 individual listing fee is charged on the following.
All forms of motor vehicles and motorcycles.
All forms of water craft.
All farm and agricultural machinery and equipment.
All forms of aircraft including hot air balloons and gliders.
All property listings, sales and rentals.
Business sales and rentals.
All fees and costs associated with I Need are subject to change.

 

15. Accounts.

Credit on a members account maintained by I Need may not be used for the payment of items or services.

I Need operates on a strictly no refunds policy except when a membership is terminated. Upon any such termination the balance of any membership credit unused will be refunded. Refunds will reflect actual monies paid by the member and will not include financial incentives paid by I Need for promotional purposes.

16. General Provisions.

I Need will do all that it can to ensure the availability of the web site but will take no responsibility for unavoidable down time or for any loss that may result as a result of any such down time.
I Need will not under any circumstances be involved in any dispute that arises between members.

I Need has no liability for lack of performance, unavailability or failure of service.

Non enforcement of I Need rights under these terms and conditions does not constitute a waiver of the terms and conditions.

All property and intellectual property including texts, logos, icons and sound recordings remain the property of I Need.
I Need undertakes not to release any information provided by members other than for the reason for which it was intended.
